well as i am away and only got time to work how to complete this conversion, I am going to the next step change out the entire radiator pack complete for a D4 3.0lt one to simplfly the integration at the front!,
I will still need to mod a could of bits so I can use my D3 air feed pipe to both turbo intakes and use the D3 mass meter, but think with the dual input larger D4 intercooler it will make the job easier as there is simple NO room at the front under the slam panel!.
so one of these sourced

so think a Allisport D3 intercooler in mint condition will be up for sale shortly

With my buying and selling of the transformation of the car I only about £5k invested, and as I know every inch of this motor is either original and fully serviceable or new and at that price and the highest modded one on the forum to a 2014 XXV level spec don't really see the argument as a D4 change would definitely cost more than what I have spent.
The forum also has some nice write ups as a result as I enjoy this hobby of saving us all some bucks.
I alway try to get the best group buys from my suppliers to pass on to the forum.
If I get a good deal I try and get it open for a few more at the same time, everyone benefits for the bits that you will need if you want to do the same FFRR SC 4.2

Well, and it's just my opinion, I think you've done a great job and got a fantastic looking car out of it

Must just say I'd love this post no matter how much it all worked out though I understand where you're coming from. Someone pushing the boundaries and surprising me with what's possible beyond a basic mod. Keep the good work up Rob I will probably never attemp this but will be watching with great interest.
