Howdy.
Due to recent extreme weather, my disco has suffered some damage and I need some advice on fixing it. A fair portion of the state I live in (Victoria, Australia) has burnt in fires recently and just to make matters worse we had 100kph plus winds last week.
With me driving in to 120kph+ gusts of wind at 110 kmh, bits started flying off the disco, includng the RHS pillar trim and the LHS gutter cover. I got off easy - some cars I saw lost whole bumper skins. Luckily the RHS pillar trim just came loose and I've managed to re-affix that. I had to order a new gutter cover from landrover. Unlike the RHS one, this has holes in it for attaching somehow?
Can anyone tell me wjat fasteners and how this gutter thingy is meant to attach?
Thanks.
PS don't drive your disco 3 over 200kmh! Bits fall off! Disco 2 TD5 "Good"

OK, so I found someone at the dealaership who knew what they were talking about... sorta.
Yes, there are clips and no, they don't come with the kit.
So I've had to order the clips....

They dont come with the kit thats mad/ LR
Just on the A Pillar trim, advice usually is to fit new clips under the trim once it has come off because they are never as strong again and it may come loose going at speed. They are only pennies so worth doing A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.
