Have you spoken to Saxtons ?
I would imagine that all of the first level contact you have in LR or Saxtons will not really have a clue as to the contractual definitions and therefore you would really need to seek a specialist solicitor to determine whether you have a case 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Having had previous experience of a similar problem which I took to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders and lost, it starts from the date of first registration and lasts for 3 years in the UK and in most cases 12 months if outside the EU. It matters not a lot whether it is in use with a Dealer or Land Rover as it is 3 years from the date of first use not first retail use.

Mine wasn't registered to LR themselves but a group company. Dunno if that is standard fleet practice or just for the orange ones? Who was the first registered keeper?
Mine was also definitely the date of first registration that was used - I recall that as we had 'discussions' over it at the dealer... They agreed and sorted it.
The wording "first retail customer" is very vague - you could get a bus through it

It's a tough one ...I suspect that LR will class themselves as the customer \ intermediary for all of their own management cars and once it's registered then that's it....warranty commences. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

They said that it came our of warranty on 8th Feb 2011, whereas the V5 says first registered 12th March 2008
If it was first registered on 12th March 2008 then at best the warranty would have expired on 12th March 2011. No matter how you look at it, its well past its date. For details on the next Kielder Safari click visit the Kielder Safari website
