I notice that Hids4u has the 4 Led Philips DRLs in the sale now. Under £70.

Robbie,
Yes many thanks my HSE has xenons and fairy lights, I would like the Fairy / Side lights to act as DRL. I wanted these to come on automatically and not have to turn them on and off every time i get in and out.
Ive seen the LED DRLs that people have fitted from the photo's posted and they are ok, but the fairy lights do look good I thought some one here might have sorted it out as Land Rover havent.

Why did you need a new grill Bill ??
I wanted to return the car to normal for services & etc. Warranty issues possibly.

The 'fairy lights' aren't bright enough to be DRL's Cheers Ian

I suppose if you bought a phillips kit but didnt use the lights but just use the box and wire it into your sidelights it would work, but you wouldnt have the independant use of sidelights via your light switch as i think you would have to cut the wires from the loom into the plug at the back of your headlight to incorporate the wiring from the phillips box into the sidelight wire at the plug on the back of you headlight !
If that makes sense!!

Bill, from your comment (and having just tried to place a couple of Philips 4) do I understand you had to modify the grill by cutting out some of the original grill lower left & right to fit the DRLs in? Did you also fit in some couplings so that you could remove the grill and replace it with the unmodded one?
