Air-con broken but no leaks

Please help.
I have a 2005 SE it has air-con front only.
The problem is :-
I have no leeks but the compressor refuses to pump.

any ideas why?

Also If I put the blowers on I get this weird pulsing from the blowers which also so comes with a groan/squeak, its like in the dash I have a flap swinging back an forth any ideas on that as well.

could the groaning/squeaking pulsing be the cause of why the a/c pump wont pump?

How do you know you have no leaks? Is their any gas in there to leak out? The pump won’t cycle if their is no refridgerant ( to protect the pump) .

The pulsing noise from the dash may be a blend/flap motor playing up.

probably a good idea to read the climate fault codes if you can.

I think there is also a self test by holding buttons down

Also check the compressor is holding pressure (will need an IID or similar for this).

Maybe a visual inspection also to see if the cone (of the compressor) has given up. It will show bulging out from the front where the belt pulley is.

If certain there are no leaks then it’s probably the compressor as they do fail with age.

Good luck.

P.S. just read your other post also. Seems to me that the compressor has gone. If you hook up an IID tool and see the KPa rising then holding (briefly) and dramatically decreasing then I’d say that confirms it. Pressure should hold.

I'd say that as well except its already had a new compressor. and if I go to the air con man and connect it to his machine its full of gas.

could it be this blend motor that's causing the compressor not to pump.

also what controls the blend motor as the motor sound ok moving back and forth
