Went for a ride on the Aberdover track yesterday. I broke all the rules. Went with one vehicle no winch did it on the spur of the moment so no one knew where I was. Only basic recovery kit with me.
But I gotta say the old Disco did it with ease. It was very tight in places and I was cringing at times waiting to hear the the scrape of rocks on bodywork. But came through all ok no scrapes and a big smile on my face.
As I was leaving at the Tywyn end I passed a convoy of various vehicles including an 05 plate black FFRR. I think they were amazed that I had made it through on my own. I just wondered if that was any of you guys on here?
