With 3.9% APR - about time! With a base rate as close to zero and a -ve outlook, 6.9-7.9% has been silly for some time.2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

At 3.9% that works out at £70 a month cheaper for mine - assuming they discounted the same amount from the retail price. .

Can you order a tow bar from the dealer and have the D5 as a factory fitted option ? Might make it slightly more palatable.2010 MX-5 2.0 Sport Tech PRHT

There’s still a very healthy finance contribution too, although the APR is dependent on the model and is only as low as 3.9% on the Disco 5 for some reason.2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Low APR on the Disco 5? That'll be because it's not selling well enough. The RRS sold just over twice as many last year, by comparison. In fact, in 2019, the D5 was the worst seller in LR's range.

Interesting to see the Velar/Evoque sales. Looks like Velar stole Evoque sales.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

Inside JLR they know they ballsed it up with the D5. And yes, the Evoque restyle hasn't done Velar any favours; it's a much prettier execution of what was already a lovely car (Velar) to look at.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Autocar 8-1-20 had several JLR articles in it.
“Over the period of January-November 2016, the ageing Discovery 4 sold 46,800 units. Over the same period last year, sales of the Discovery 5, which was launched in 2017 were just 33,232. And that number was also a 19% drop on sales figures for the same period in 2018. “

Wondering what the sales figures would show on D3 in comparison to D2 in the early years, given at the time very mixed reaction to the new direction it took back them, similar to D5.
Local dealer seems to think sales for D5 have been picking up quiet strongly of late D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

My dealer thinks the opposite, they’ve seen steady sales but think the Defender may just kill it off.
It’s a shame as it’s a nice car but for me it just lacked that something and I’m not sure what. Compare that to the new Defender, when I sat in it it just felt right.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green
