Hi James,
I saw your comparison photo of the new versus old white Range Rovers parked side by side, would you by any chance have something similar to show the Zermatt / Siberian silvers?

Is reducing the CO2 emissions from 244g/km to below 226 g/km to achieve a standard rate £245 and a first year rate of £550 (rather than £425 and £750) a possibility?

Apart from the general across the range changes mentioned above (badge colour, DPF, new colours, reshaped rear headrests, hill start and gradient acceleration control) are there any specific changes to the XS for the 2011 Model Year?
Is it correct to assume that arm rests will now be standard on a XS.
Will the XS come with a TDV6 (3.0 210bhp) and SDV6 (3.0 245bhp) engine or will this be an option?
Also are there any new or deleted options for the XS?

I heard the other day there was a possibility of a commercial XS later in the year. Is this true or just the dealer feeding me rubbish (it's the local dealer that I've had run-ins with before about not giving correct information). Would be interested if it is likely as my order for a commercial with lots of extras may be affected.

Thanks for that as the .co.uk website was not showing the Disco price list at all now.
Anyway, as a D3 SE owner it does not offer the upgrades to the XS that I was hoping for. I have memory seats and rear heated seats as standard on my car and they are not even available as an option (STILL) on the D4 XS. I am not prepared to shell out near £50k for an HSE so I guess I will be running my D3 until LR sort out the D4 price list/spec sheets or I can buy a nearly new D4 HSE for the right side of £40k.

Right, the convenience pack on the XS and HSE still shows as including a 3rd cupholder, row one. I know this is a minor detail, but it's been bugging me for months! I assumed it was on the specs because they had just copied most of it from the D3, but come one, it's been a year now, and at least 2 iterations!
So where's my cupholder then?

Hmm, that's the standard reply everyone gives, I'm afraid! That's not row one, or a 3rd cupholder! Those are standard second row cupholders.
In the D3, the 3rd cupholder is below the left hand airvent, but they've not put it there in the D4.
Any other ideas?

2.7 TDV6 engine with manual gearbox discontinued and replaced with a 210bhp 3.0 with automatic for Commercial.
3.0 210 bhp being badged as TDV6 and 3.0 245bhp being badged as SDV6.
Not having followed the 3.0 engine's developments, is this 210 bhp 3.0 a slightly detuned version of the 3.0 TDV6 currently supplied with the 2010MY D4, or is the new 2011 SDV6 motor actually more powerful than what was previously available?
Also, does anyone know if the less powerful 3.0 yield a better fuel consumption figure than the more powerful engine?
EDIT: Just read somewhere that the 210 bhp TDV6 3.0 is a detuned version of the standard 3.0 motor.
