Oh,
Looks great 8)
Can I ask, you seem to have been able to remove the cover around the boot handle, if so how of is that the full handle removed?
I have been updating my 05 discovery

You have remove the full handle off the discovery, you will find on the rear of it that goes against the tailgate, 2 screws, one in each top corner, remove these. Then you will have to locate 4 plastic clips, there's one at either end and 2 behind the switch (you have to remove the switch to get at them), simply pull them back whilst sliding the cover upwards, keeping tension between the cover and the body whilst pulling the clips one at once worked best for me... if that makes sense lol
