Weird fault with phone / bluetooth / phone controls

OK... this has got me pondering, so apologies if I ramble a little...

I have a BlackBerry which has been paired with my D4 Commercial (ie poverty spec radio system...) for the last 18 months or so without drama.

Recently, I have had issues where the phone will ring but none of the vehicle buttons (radio or steering wheel) will answer the call - if I accept the call on the phone itself (tut, tut...), it will connect.

Equally, having finished a call, the system seems to be 'hanging' -I can get it to finish the call but the phone doesn't seem to clear properly and the radio remains muted. The only way to resolve this is to turn the radio off, thereby breaking the bluetooth connection and turning the radio back on to re-make the connection.

Not sure if the fault lies with the phone or the car...

Any ideas?

Not sure if it is relevant as I have a D3 but have the D4 BT module.

I answered a call last week and as soon as I answered it I could not get my iPhone 4 to select BT,finished the call through the speaker on the phone and hung up,at this point the stereo was still showing the callers name and connected,I tried using the wheels buttons to disconnect but no joy, then tried the stereo, still no joy, eventually I turned the BT off on the phone and all seemed ok,turned the BT back on the phone but could not get it to connect so tried the Phone button on the stereo and got the message "No Phone Fitted".

Got home and cycled the car and when I restarted all was ok Confused

Hasn't happened before or since.
