Water, water everywhere ...

It's been an age since New Year's Eve.

It's now Sunday 4th January 2009.

During which month I have promised SWMBO that not a drop of alcohol will pass my lips.

We went to a fantastic sushi restaurant last night and ... ... I drank water.

I cooked a wonderful forerib of beef today with roast potatoes and ... ... I drank water.

Supper tonight will be a fresh baguette with some ripe cheese and a terrine and ... ... I will drink water.

Shocked

I have about 200 bottles of good wine downstairs.

Still, I'm looking forward to 30 minutes on the Concept II tomorrow morning and every working day this year ... at 06:00 Shocked

Has anyone else started Lent early?
