Water in fuel
Got the "water in fuel" warning yesterday. According to the Handbook it means that there is water in the fuel filter. How urgently do I need to get this sorted? The car is due for service next month and I will probably do less than 500 miles in that time. Can it wait?

How hard is it to change a fuel filter? Not sure I'd want to ignore that warning for another 500 miles tbh fella. Fuel filter change is fairly straightforward and not getting it sorted now, may cause you problems in the not too distant future. Obviously someone far more knowledgeable than I will be along shortly with a definitive answer. My17 Volvo XC90 Inscription

It can wait
The diesel sits on top of the water, so it won't be drawn into the fuel system
If a new filter does not cure it, it may need a filter housing. Not much more than the cost of a filter, IIRCMy D3 Build Thread
