Vibration at idle...ideas??

Quick question... I have noticed in the last couple of weeks a slight vibration coming through the gear change when sat in drive with my foot on the brake pedal at the traffic lights.

Over the last few days this seems to have got worse, with a slight shuddering and a strange 'woop/woop' noise in the back ground.

Tonight there is a definate vibration which disappears when I move off and pick up speed.

Any ideas before I head down the dealers?

Do you get the vibration when manoeuvring at slow speed as well?

My D4 was doing the same a few months ago but I also got the vibration when performing slow manoeuvres - dealer found that the exhaust pipe on the drivers side was not aligned properly. Not had any vibration since they sorted it.

ummmm, not noticed it at slow speed, but I will try tomorrow while moving some boats around the yard.

I am thinking some sort of bush or connection somewhere rather than anything catstrophic (sic!) but knowing its just out of extended warrenty it could be anything!

The last time I ran out of warrenty on my D3 the gearbox dropped out a few weeks later lol
