urgent help needed air suspension

Warning light on dash is red as apposed to amber -is this signify a particular type of failure? i have noticed it is lower on N/S front , I have sprayed with soapy water but can see no air bubbles here , could this be a front valve block fault or is it a height sensor fault? my compressor still runs on start up , is there any way to check a height sensor is working correctly? i have distorted the rubber link and it raises up to full height then drops back down after around 5 secs. WARNING LIGHT IS ON PERMANENTLY will this go off when the fault is remedied or will it need diagnostics? Where is the front valve block assembly located? can someone point me in the right direction save me searching ? Does anybody know if the suspension has a separate ecu / control unit,& if so where its located ?
Thanks so much if anyone can help - bit desperate as long journey has to be taken.

Valve block in front of drivers side front wheel behind the splash shield.
The chances of fixing it without codes are slim to zero.
