U0401-94 and engine fault / limp mode

Hi,

my D3 went to limp mode.
I've read out the errors and the only one I found is U0401-94 (pending).
When I erase it, it immediatelly reappears.

Battery appears to be OK. I charged it just to be sure.
Brake lights - all bulbs work.
When I press the brake pedal while fetching live data, I can see the state change of brake pedal sensor.

What should I check?

Seems to be related to communication between engine ecu and the terrain response control.

No.
Got home normally 2 or 3 days ago.
This morning, reversed from parking place, wanted to drive forward, limp mode...
No rain inbetween, no liquids in the cabin, ...
