Hello guys my name is Adam. On Friday I picked up my new to me Disco 3 HSE. I just have few questions regarding adding iPod connectivity and replacement keys for the roof bars.
Any hints, tips or direction to the SME's on the forum would be much appreciated
Thanks

iPod connectivity:
1. Easy Route
Buy an Aux lead, plug it in behind you in centre console next to the rear passenger vents and heated seat switches (Aux in)
2. Complex Route
Get a GVIF unit at great cost then audio in via that, also allows you to install a rear view camera and use via the sat nav screen

Thanks for the replies! I looked at that key thread when I used the search function. Have got the page open so I can send off once I confirm when the car is home
The Gvif box is about £250ish isn't it?
Looked into that when I wanted to add the reverse camera didn't realise it doesn't give you functionality for the iPod controls though Never argue with an idiot! They will bring you down to their level, Then win with experience!!

In terms of the iPhone connection.
Just get one of these. Way cheaper and does everything you need...it also has a little button that adds a bit of amplification to the output so you don't have to listen to the navigation at ear bleeding levels.

Hi Dubbs,
As I have a gvif, I would assume I need a minijack to minijack (like the Griffin one) lead but where do you lead the audio FROM the gvif? Back to the aux connector on the back of the cubby?
