Front parking sensor

Hi guys,

I am after some advice please. I have front and rear sensors, the rear work perfectly the front are not working at all. On a friends machine it doesn't recognise them at all. The switch on the dash seems to turn off the rear when requested. Is there a separate fuse that may have failed or is it the wiring loom, I would guess that not all four units have failed if non of the back have. Has anybody any ideas

Cheers Thumbs Up

If there is a fault with the front end, it knocks out the whole system. More likely the small speaker on the instrument pack has failed. Do you still have your indicator "tick" and key in warning bong?

Thanks for your reply. The indicators are fine and too are the front speakers. Weird eh?

It is entirely possible that all 4 sensors have failed, and not receiving any feedback, but not logged as a fault. Have seen this once before, and didn't want to believe all 4 sensors had stopped working, but the net fix was 4 new sensors.

Ideally, you need it hooked up to a machine that can read the live data from the front PDC sensors, to check they are functioning OK
