And yes, there is a PC based controller software available. For the moment, it replicates the Integrated Interface with 2 additional lines, preferably on a Laptop. It will be improved in time.http://www.gap-diagnostic.com/

While the non BT version is perfectly capable, the BT version is much, much better.
It is well worth the extra cost
So do you prefer the iiD over the Hawkeye? If so why?

The Hawkeye is a glorified code reader, that can reset the service light.
The IID is in a whole different league when it comes to functionality and capability.
I sold on my Hawkeye as soon as the IID was delivered! Its not even worth comparing to two tools...My D3 Build Thread

need your help folks
i am tempted to buy a lynx, main reason is that it does key car reset, which i need to do (will save me 100 € from the garage..)
however it seems the iidtool is far more powerfull than the lynx from what i read, can you guys confirm :
1) is lynx the only device that can reset key fobs
2) are the features in the iidtool far Superior of lynx and bearmach ?
thks much

The Lynx/Hawkeye are good solid tools but they are completely outclassed by the IID Tool. Mikey has a video on here showing how quick you can program a key using an IID.
Some interesting features coming down the development pipe for the IID Tool too.

The Lynx system is not a patch on the IID.
The Bearmach offering is essentially a code reader, that can reset the service interval, calibrate the EPB module, and a few other bits and pieces.
Between those 3 offerings, it would be the IID for me, every single time. I keep mine in the car, and do not go anywhere without it. As close to idiot proof as you could ever want, so ideal for beginners, and more advanced users alike My D3 Build Thread
