Hi Leigh,
Just to be sure - you do not need the Pro if you are only using the IIDTool for yourself. The IIDTool BT and even the regular IIDTool have (almost) the same functionality.

DSL - No complaining! Your mission is to retrofit Satnav and then enable the 4x4 screen!

Not changing my mind but I recently bumped on this:

I don't know the device, but if you reed the text it looks as if can do the same things as our tools for a very very low price!
It probably won't be able to do what a IIDTool does, can someone explain me what the difference is, besides the need of an extra device (PC, tablet, phone, ...) 2017-...: Disco II Td5 auto, 1999, BAS remap, HD TC and auto box Ashcroft, Allisport IC, ACE, 2" lift only coils, BF goodrich KM2 265/70R17, FF front and rear bumper, TF steering guard and tree sliders, nanocom.
2013-2017: Disco 3 TDV6 HSE aut. of 2008, Britpart treesliders, IIDTool, RLD sump guard, BFG KM2 265/70R17, adj. rods, BAS remap + EGRs blanked, silicon IC hoses.
2010-2013: Disco II Td5 of 2000, ACE, front Bearmach HD coils, rear SLS, GG AT2

BSM - Thanks for the kind words.

The OBD dongle you have linked is just that - generic OBD2 at best. That means that if it works properly, you should be able to see emissions related fault codes (engine/transmission) and (hopefully) clear them on any post 1/1/2001 vehicle (in Europe). You will not see any LR specific systems much less be able to do anything complex such as CCF, component calibration, or flashing. And the very cheap dongles often don't work very well.
