2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Manual Java Black

WTD: Dog Guard Lower Brackets

Hi, Can anyone help me out.

Ive got a Discovery 3 full length original LR dog/cargo guard (VUB501170) but its missing the two lower mounting arms.

Does anyone have a set they would be willing to part with or know where I can get some?

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I needed them for a vacation where we were taking the dogs. I had to eventually bite the bullet and go and buy some new ones.

Did you have to buy the full fitting kit for the cargo barrier and if so did it come with the fittings for the dog cage also?

Sorry Brian,

I did have to buy the full fitting kit but the brackets in your picture were two of the four I needed. I only have the top "pressure" arms spare that rest under tension onto the C pillar by the rear windows

But out of interest were the other two for the lefthand side,if so and you have them i will take them off your hands.

Sorry not too sure which you mean. (Sorry just up between night shifts and my brain is still a little fuzzy, not enough coffee consumed yet lol!)

The top brackets come as a pair LH & RH if that is what you are after;

Nope,it is basically the brackets that allow you to fit the dog cage to the left hand side of the boot.

Yeah sorry Brian,

They were the ones I needed too......was given a full height dog guard and the pieces you see in the picture but the 4 lower brackets were left in the car when sold.

Had to bite the bullet and buy a whole new fitting kit, hence I have the leftover bits above. Nevermind at least the fitting kit was cheaper than having to buy the guard as well!

I have just purchased a D3 with a dog guard. looking from the rear of the car the right hand top bracket in your picture is missing. Do you have a price in mind?

Sorry buddy didn't see your initial post until the bump.

You are welcome to the top bracket and retaining screws. Dont really want much for it if i can help out a fellow forum member.

How does cost of postage plus a fiver for a couple of beers sound?
