Getting ready for Italian trip
Hi
New member here. Our First Disco, owned for 6 weeks, still smiling every time we climb in.
Planning a 2 weeker down to Lake Garda in July/Aug, stopping off in Swiss Alps for 3 nights, then back up to UK through Mont Blanc into france . Using all 7 seats, so luggage up top in Kamei Corvara 390ltr, Vango Airbeam 8 berth tent on a Thule Easybase with a few extras too. The poor thing will look like a packhorse.
All fingers crossed for no dramas.

Have a nice trip, we head off on pretty much the same destinations in 5 weeks with tent roof box etc, prefect vehicle for the trip

We're off the the military trails in the Southern Alps mid July. 1 week trailing and 1 week chilling in South of France. Our 1st time camping. Can't even put the tent up yet lol

chilling in South of France sounds like a great plan, we did Provence and Cote d'Azure 2 years ago.. just a few days somewhere near Lyon enroute back to UK this time... Thought we'd spend most of the time based around Lake Garda... Days out to Venice and Genoa... Just hope the Disco doesn't kick me in the

Yes, hoping to get there n back on the cars 4 wheels Lake Garda is great. Been there three times many years back whilst touring Europe in my motorbike days. Nowadays nearer to Zimmer than Suzuki lol

I'll be in Sirmione on lake Garda on July 9/10/11 on me scooter. I'll look out for broken down D3's all around the lake.

Just don't tow anything in Italy costs a fortune, there way of charging is number of axles so Disco towing 2 axle trailer Class 4 from Mount Blanc to Slovenia, 145 Euros!!!
