For Sale : Faultmate FCR - SOLD
As I no longer have a D3, Im getting rid of a few items.
FAULTMATE FCR
This is a fantastic fault code reader/fault reset tool. It's had very little use and it is in excellent condition (about 1 year old).
You will need to contact Black Box Solutions to have the vehicle VIN lock reset as the FCR is locked to a single vehicle.
This cost approx £20 but perhaps best to double check with Black Box Solutions to confirm the latest price.

Service from Colin and his staff at BBS has always been outstanding, and this unit has saved me from the inconvenience and cost of having to use the stealers to clear fault codes. It has no doubt paid for itself already.
The FCR is complete with the VCI interface (to connect to the car's OBD socket) and a USB lead (for any firmware updates).
Please note, this is not the MSV-2 diagnostics, the Faultmate FCR is a stand alone Fault Code Reader that does just that --Reads and Clears Fault Codes and can read every component control unit in the car (not just the engine ECU).
A new FCR from BBS currently costs around £260. As per previous sales of this useful little device, I'm asking £160 including fully insured P&P from Germany
NOTE. You cannot do remaps or anything like that with this device.
