WTD, side steps
Looking for a CHEAP set of side steps like the ones pictured below.

Current set i have are bashed, dented and the silver trim is lying at the side of the garage as i've snapped them off.
Too much off roading has killed these ones, so looking for a new set to be for road use only, will be unbolting them for off road use to avoid repeating the trashing process...
I live just outside Glasgow if anyone has ones that are localish. If not then i can happily arrange courier to get them shipped from wherever really.
Ideally, they should be in good condition, some marks etc won't matter, as long as the foot plate is intact and the silver trim hasn't broken off.
Post up or PM me if you have a set to sell.

what about the ones similar to Ewan's, it would be a right pain taking on and off all the time
If you are doing some offroading I would upgdrade to some sill protectors and side steps from Britpart like these

I checked Euan's and i like them, but not enough to buy them. Plus they aren't advertised as true rock slider's, so i would have them bent like Pretzels after a day..
The Prospeed stuff is £495. Or £795 for tree and rock sliders. Pricy.
Britpart stuff is £3** but it's Britpart.. i don't like britpart, have had bad dealings with them on 3 separate occasions.
The idea is the steps are for on road, to help get in and out and clean the roof etc.
Bolt off and fit something else for off road, currently toying with what that will be.
Possible plan is to take current bashed steps, make them straightish, strengthen them with more bracing and plate the bottom to turn them into a diy slider..
I have a few ideas for them as they are otherwise scrap as they are so bent out of shape. In loving memory of FA54WSK.
