| Faultmate MSV-2 questions |

I have semi looked in to the possibility of a single license MSV-2 Nano for my MY12 D4. The plan was to install the software on a Toshiba notebook.. However , this runs XP, does anyone know if the MSV-2 software will run ok with XP? and what space is needed on the hard disk etc. I have asked this of the manufacturer, but no reply yet, so thought I would ask the forum...
Are there any other issues or things to look out for when running this system..
Lastly, where is the diagnostic plug connection on the D4?
Any help appreciated..

I run on XP with no issues .. Don't know how much space it takes ..but it's not much G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Thanks Wiggs/Geoff for the Xp info... I did some more digging in the BB downloads and it does confirm XP and disk space size, its not much as you say, so the Toshiba notebook should work fine with it..
One last question...
I Know this may sound a stupid question, but I was checking out the D4 vehicle specific software module 134 which shows to come with the D4 single vehicle kit on the BB website. Does this specific module allow enabling of the rear view camera though the CCF ?, as the BB info does not go into detail as to what can be changed in the CCF. Bearing in mind that I will be using this on a MY12 D4.
Sorry to post these type of questions, but I want to make sure that I can enable the rearview camera with this unit before I order it.
As always, any help/comments appreciated.

As a side question and sorry to invade another members post but thought it might help to keep it here...
Does anyone use one with a USB to serial adapter at all and if so which ones as there are loads of good and bad ones out there??? FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner

If you need a USB to serial adaptor get it from Blackbox, that way they will support it.

i got a cheap on back in the day from ebay ...never had any issues with it G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
