Now and then, lose of power steering !?!

I have lost the power steering effect a couple of times but only for a few seconds then its back to normal again.

For me it has happend on the exit lane from a motorway at approx 110 kmh (70 mh) Crying or Very sad !!!, at a very slow speed making a u-turn and at different speeds in between. Its only for a few seconds at a time but it is really scary at speed.

I can not relate it to any speed, "steering wheel angle" or anything else.

Could it be the servo pump giving up on me or any other better suggestions.

Just been in for service at the dealer and they did not find anything wrong!?!?

Could be the belt slipping, so check that as well as the fluid level and look around the immediate area for leaks. One member on here had the belt slipping due to leaking coolant - you never know! Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948
