I recently bought some alloys from a friend they came off a 54 plate FFRR. When it came to fitting them to my D3 my wheel studs were to large (external diameter) to fit through the holes in the new alloys. Do FFRR use different sizes studs or do i need to skim a set of D3 ones ?

early FFRR used a smaller black sleeve nut. You can buy these from a dealer (or may find some on fleebay)
What size are your alloys, as the early 19" FFRR alloys foul the front brake calipers on on TDV6 D3 (but not on a VEight).

got a feeling the early 18"s foul as well - its only when you've got them bolted up tight - have you tried them yet?

No mate not yet. Tbh it will be after newyear probably. Worst case scenario I can always sell them on he FFRR site
