Who'd have thought it would be so hard to find a second hand Disco. I'm after an HSE in Black or Buckingham Blue, Alpaca leather, under 50,000 miles. Preferably manual. Anyone got one?

Hi Chris and Welcome. I thought i'd convinced you that an auto would be better when we visited.
Never mind, good luck with the search, and welldone for for finally choosing a name for the little fella.

As per the above posts, HSE in manual = hens teeth.
When you've spent a long time driving both manual and auto. the reason for the above becomes apparent.

The manual was a NCO in the HSE. Not sure how many would have ticked that box when looking at the option list.
Good luck finding it though...

I've a manual (XS) and TBH I hate auto's no matter what the car!
Rather than sticking to a HSE have a look around, a lot of the lower models were specd up.

Around the time I bought mine new in late 2005, there were quite a few spanish imported manual HSEs but with different spec to uk ones. They were quite cheap (relatively).
At least I think I remember rightly... TDV6 HSE Lux (2014MY)
TDV6 HSE (2006MY - owned for 9 years and 150,000! - now replaced)
Mini Cooper SD 5 door
TVR Chimaera 450
Series II 1960 Diesel
