What is latest part number and cost? Also what do you need in the car to connect it?

Hi, I am interested but would need to know if I can put it into the disco I am getting, it has a std stereo from what I know the one without phone buttons.
Can you look at the destructions and let me know if it mentions fitting for this one.
pm also sent.

I looked at the instructions it shows the freelander low line and high line as the connectors must be different but the disco shows only one fitting type, I assume it would be the same as the connectors are the same for the two systems, the unit also accepts USB sticks and aux in from a connector you fit in the glovebox. I'm sure someone will be able to clarify the fitting side of it but I would say it would be fine? I had my iPhone 4 on the system, it told me it was not charging but it did actually charge, the music part worked fine.

Hi, I've come over from the FL2 forum for help.
I've bought a VPLFE0002 iPod Connectivity Kit 2nd hand on eBay. The previous owner had this in a Disco 3 - the same part number is for FL2 and D3. The supplied loom however does not have the correct plugs to fit my FL2. I have found a photo of the kit contents (see my gallery) and two looms are shown. I haven't got the one with the green plugs which I suspect is the FL2 one.
Has anybody on here fitted one of these kits to their D3 and presumably got the FL2 loom left over. I would be looking to buy just the loom with the green plugs or to swap for the D3 loom which is no use to me.
Hope that makes sense!
