| Yellow 60amp fuse blowing after compressor change. For Sale |

I have just changed my compressor and now the yellow fuse keeps blowing. Anyone near Bedford want a D3? Need it gone.
Can’t be bothered to fix it. Just over 200,000 miles and a very lovely car. Changing role means more miles and a replacement of the BMW so this is up for review too.
Unless someone knows the issue with the fuse it will be going. I paid 4K for it 2 years ago. 2007 Discovery 3 HSE Lugano Teal

They did uprate the fuse to 70 amps on later vehicles, what compressor did you fit? It could be the new compressor is pulling more power Andrew

Is the compressor new?- unplug it and with the fuse out check the plug with a multi meter for shorting to ground if ok check the “new” compressor for shorting, sounds like you’ve bought a duff compressor you can’t blame the car for that  It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
