IMHO, save yourself a load of bother and get in touch with TLO on the forum and order the proper LR kit.
There is very little in it price wise and it plugs straight into the D3 loom well out of the way of any water. Club N.E.R.D.s

As above ....i have seen these kits ...the trailer icon on dash does not work with them
I got a set of electrics brand new on ebay( proper LR ones ) for £40 G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I know you beat me to them, I could have picked them up for you as i went to his house to pick up my toys.
I remember getting a set of side steps for £30, when the D3's weren't so common.
