Tracking problem Disco 4 ?
Can I please have some comments on the attached photos of the front tyres on my Disco 4. The car was bought about 3000 miles ago (now reading11500 miles approx) and when I noticed what I considered to be excessive differential tyre wear, together with the steering being very slightly offset to the right, I returned the car to the dealer for checking. His conclusion is that there is nothing wrong with the tracking and he can see no problem with the tyre wear. To my mind the wear is excessive on one side which usually indicates tracking problems but they will not do a full alignment check (unless I pay of course!) as it will not be covered by the warranty.
Should I get an independent opinion or complain to Land Rover or do you think I am being too critical?

For what it's worth, a few of us on this forum have had that problem with a D4 when delivered and it was most definitely an alignment problem. Yours was probably like that on delivery too. Rumour has it that the bloke who does the alignment at the factory has a squint - but we just call him the **** Artist.
