beaten and battered but for sale |
|
I am in the market for changing my D3 (2005 - stornaway grey - light leather) I will probably change for another one but I might try a RR sport for a laugh!
Anyway, I thought I would offer my 2005 D3 SE on here first before I tart it up and stick it on fleabay.
I am the second owner and have not really looked after it, my vehicles have to earn a living and as a result get a bit beaten about and end up with various dings and dents - I could get these sorted (and probably will do if it ends up on ebay).
Then main bad bits are -
It needs the bushes doing
It has various dents, scratches and dings inside and out
It has 116,000 on the clock (this will continue to go up pre sale)
The alloys need a refurb
The good bits are -
It has had a new intercooler fitted by BAS (we thought it was the turbo - we were wrong!)
It has had a new clutch fitted by BAS
It has had the major service including all belts by Nene overland
It has always been serviced (first couple of years main dealer then independants)
It has always had regular oil changes
It has had the brake recall work done
It has the EGR's blanked by BAS
It has 4x4 info activated
It has had recent new discs and pads all round
It has MOT for about 11 months
It has tax until Nov 11 but is one of the last on the cheaper rate
It has a good set of General Grabber AT's fitted all round (although the spare isnt)
It has the short roof rails fitted and I might be able to throw in a set of geniune roof bars and a tow hitch if the asking price is met.
I intend on giving it a good valet before it goes and will fix one or two odd bits not mentioned above, I realise it is not the best example but it is reliable and it goes well, this is ideal as a wrok truck, project base vehicle or ripe for expedition prep.
I am thinking 9,995 ONO
What do people think?

Hi folks,
Its still here!
Character - VAT qualifing... ummmm.... not as far as I am aware - I leave that to the accountants and they havent mentioned it!
highfellzippy - add another 1000 to that figure and you can have it
Bodsy - you are right - how would it have 4x4 info without sat nav?
highfellzippy - 4x4 info is not standard on the SE but Pete at Bell Autos activated it for me when he changed the intercooler last year
