Hi, I’m a bid to excuse a faux pas of a previous post I would like to introduce myself. I have been a long time “observer” of this fantastic forum and it has greatly helped in many an issue in the past and only now after nearly 5 years of ownership have I needed to actually reach out for advice on this forum. I shall do my best to contribute where I can, but the pure volume of content has been so formidable I fear I will struggle to be of much help.

hi been a a disco owner for many years now but new to the forum.
Retired now but a mechanic in a previous life, so do a lot of home servicing but leave the complicated stuff to the professionals.
Looking forward to getting some good advise from the forum members. Thanks in advance. Brian aka (willa)

An intro from a Discovery 3 owner in Leicester
Hello all. I've had my Discovery 3 since 2016. It's a base model 2008. I've spent huge sums of money on the thing and it has a very rough history.
Looking to this forum to gain like-minded friends and hopefully glean & give some knowledge.
Despite the iffy history of my Disco3, I do have a fondness for it, and I aim to keep her for many years to come.

Thank you. Yes, it's a nice colour. Probably a little deeper red in real life. Sun very bright today when I took that photo.

Hahaha! Thank you!
You're right, however, my ancient narrowboat continually melts my wallet, whereas my Disco3 makes it merely mushy.

Hi from Aus
Hello all, new member from the far south coast of New South Wales, Australia. We have a 2014 Discovery 4 which we bought 2nd hand in April 2019. Love the car, even though it has given us some issues. Presently looking to replace the coolant expansion bottle to get rid of the dreaded "Low Coolant Level" warning, which we have been getting since the car did a coolant spit when we on our way to Brisbane in August last year.
Look forward to learning lots.
Cheers
