New owner
Evening everyone!!
Been a proud owner of my 54 hse for a week now and I absolutely love it!
Going to attempt the egr valve blanking tomorrow using the guide from here.
Never done any kind of mechanical work before, but really looking forward to having a go.
Great site and advise.
Evening and welcome, EGR blanking is quite simple, but if you have large hands remove some of the plastic storage tub on the off side to enhance access

Thanks
Got fingers like Richmond sausages!!
Expecting not to have a lot of skin left on my knuckles and to be throwing a few F's about.
Should be fun!

Hi and welcome
I always take a couple photos with my phone if I think I might forget how things go back together. I've not tackled the EGR's yet. Must get around to it Narpy Grill, tinted windows, Smooth leather wheel (TLO Group buy), ACM fitted (thanks TLO), Rear door loom and Row 2 & 3 audio switch upgrade, RRS 20" wheel change, 285 Cooper LTZ's Sat Nav Mod (until I get a Faultmate upgrade), Front & Rear lamp guards. 4x4 screen now switched on - Woody32, Follow me home reverse lights - woody32, Auto release EPB - Woody32. Off Road Navigation - Woody32. Remap + EGR's switched off. Full chassis clean and Waxoyl.

I was going to do that at work today but got tied up in other things
I may be going for it Sunday I've got to bring the stand back from the royal cornwall show then it's on the menu.
I had a refresher read of very disco's tread again last night. Dug the heat gun out and everything
Watch this space, it'll be tears at the weekend, maybe joy maybe sadness.
