Is your car also ungrateful ?
So been helping her with a new fresh look, with help from Beanie and Disco Mike et al. However rather than being happy with the new D4 look she has started to miss behave. At least once a month the radio wont turn off and flashes constantly. The sat nav also stays on and wont power down. This is all when turning it off. Its fine if i am local as i can do a hard re set but my wife cant if i am not around. Anyone got any suggestions at all as to what it can be ? the car is constantly used for short journeys so never gets a proper charge so i wasnt sure if it was this ? Many thanks jamesJames favourite hobby is writing in the third person.

Think about it this way......
Was Mrs Kington grateful when you insisted on her having surgery for her enhancements?

I can only dream of Mrs Kington getting any enlargements,,,,, priority is for the car to behave !!
did run a search (promise) but if the stereo stays on again, other than a big hammer. will pulling fuse 57 kill it ?
so then i can perform a hard reset at a later stage ?James favourite hobby is writing in the third person.

Nope.
I buy mine gifts that it likes...
Like batteries, tyres, brakes and new suspension bits.
Then I parked it next to a G4 D3 and said, would you like to look like that one day?
So far it seems happy as I'm 2/3rds there with the look.In loving memory of FA54WSK.
Rest well old friend, your work is done.

Mine was an ungrateful yesterday.
After treating it to 4 new wishbones, and some bling fog lights, it decided to ping up a suspension fault, normal height only My D3 Build Thread

Beanie grill fitted this am. Looks a lot newer and less old school with de tangoed lights too.
Borrowed a ctek for tomorrow and plan to give it a bloody good charging ! Hopefully sort the electrical issues outJames favourite hobby is writing in the third person.

Alan, I don't Lord it up over anyone. I forgave it for 18 months, and 30k of (relatively) trouble free motoring
Pinged up at half 2 Friday afternoon, drove it home, met a lad there and stripped and cleaned his EPB, then started on mine. Found a broken wire in the NS wheel arch, was ready to go again for half 5 My D3 Build Thread

What I meant Mikey was that yours sat a lot higher than the standard height,
Well it did a couple of weeks ago.
Robbo, so this twin turbo won't be on show next week then?
