Please make sure you have returned your car to original first and erased the interface before its sold on to a new owner to save complications. If the car has already sold and its still tuned the interface can not be reused as it is locked to your old still tuned car.
Note to any interested in new ownership, I give full support as I would with any new interface sold bymy self but the file needed for the new owners car does have a charge of 150+vat for its creation.

Pete
I returned the car to the original file before selling. How do I wipe the interface?
Cheers

Hi Andy
Just use the pc software, link, erase, confirm, done. Link one more time after this and you will be presented with a car list. if you see the list select the car you wish to use the interface on next and follow the on screen.

Pete,
As I understand it, if I buy your upgrade some of the cost is actually in the hardware interface. I also understand that this hardware can be used to read/clear codes etc - can you give me an indication of what the hardware can do and cannot do in this regard.
Also I assume the software you provide is for a standard map that provides a compromise between power and economy - if I also wanted an additional map for say towing when I am pulling the van - would that cost be an additional £150 and is it as simple as plugging in the hardware in the OBD port to switch between the original, your standard and towing maps as required?
Thanks
Garry

Hi garrycol
The interface will read and clear where possibile engine fault codes only. If you buy an interface retail you would get a map as part ofd tha package price. i can taylor a map to suite your needs so in most cases a 2nd map is not needed nor pratical due to the gearbox adaptation reset after a prgoraming is done. the full instructions are available on my web site if you need futher info on how it would install etc but all you basiclly need is a windows 32bit pc and your OBD port.

Can I just check Pete.
You mentioned the gearbox adaptation is reset when ever you re-program the ecu?
Will this happen even if I'm re-loading (overwriting) the same BAS map? Or would I have to re-load the standard map again 1st
