I've got the opportunity to aquire any 2 18" hankook tyres, so am looking for a suitable pair for the D3. I've found these Ventus ST's which look ok, but..
I'm running 255/60/18's at the moment, but the two fronts need replacing, so the question is two-fold.
Firstly, can i run a pair of 255/60's on the front/rear and run a pair of 265/60's on the other end?
and secondly, is the load rating of 110 and speed rating of V suitable to the D3?
Any comments/advice greatly apriciated You only live once, but if you work it right, once is enough.

From the tyre Wiki
Quote:It should be noted that the standard Disco3 tyre fitment for an HSE model in the United Kingdom is 255/55/19 with a 111 weight rating. The minimum weight rating in the UK is 111 per tyre, while in Australia a lower limit of 109 applies. LR do NOT recommend the fitment of the RRS 255/50/19 107 tyre to the Disco3 due to the smaller rolling circumference and the lower load rating.
If you have different size tyres on front and back i would expect the DSC to do its nut TBH I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Cheers SJR,
In my heart of hearts i was guessing that might have been the case
back to the drawing board - or something else to put some Hankooks on...! You only live once, but if you work it right, once is enough.
