Aloy Wheel Corrosion

Hi guys.. has anybody had problems with alloy wheels corroding/pitting?

My MY06 Has never been on the beach yet i noticed today after a car wash that I have bad pitting on the rims in different areas on all wheels.

Anybody else had this experience. Do LR cover this with warranty?

Cheers

the early 18" 's' wheels, - type 1 ? pitted fairly heavily through attack from the brake dust, the HSE 19" that are on now do not suffer anywhere nearly as badly.

LR where not interested when I asked

My 19" alloys were replaced under warranty as they had pitted - even the spare.
