just thought i'd mention a few things noticed with the new shoes..
1. ROAD NOISE- having 2 D3's on the drive at the moment i did a little back to back, MIL's D3 has got zero's on, drove them both and tbh the at2's are only marginally noisier and REALLY they are quieter than the aero roof rack...
with the windows open you get the distinctive LR hum, but that's it. windows closed they are not obtrusive in any way.
2. GRIP. really nice, bit like michelin bike tyres, you can really feel them smudge into the tarmac and grip. there is a little more roll as to be expected from deep tread like this BUT they offer plenty of feel and confidence. as said before, the level of feedback really was a surprise for a a tyre like this.
3. AESTHETICS- 8) 8) say no more...
I havent tried them off road yet, only on the track to my house so will update later on that one, need some rain now..
will also post any effect on fuel economy.. one wife.......livid

Watch them on wet roads - great in puddles, not as good as Scorpions or Wranglers on greasy, damp roads. Other than that, a good tyre in my experience (as the first Disco3 member to get his hands on a set of AT2s in this size back in the day ) I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
