That will probably be because they don't fit then
If you want to spend your hard earned cash on a set to find out the expensive way what the information on here was telling you for free, then............. I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Andy, because yours is an 08my, they will rub.
Not on the upright, but on lock to lock.
edit & added
There is a chassis extension in the front wheel arch that wasn't there on earlier models.
For example as mine is an earlier model, I had 265/70/17's on mine with no rubbing issues.
But that same wheel tyre combo did rub on the newer D3 I got them from....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Personally I've not seen it.
Best bet is to have a look at an earlier model and decide from there if you want to modify it....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

that is what I am trying to make up my mind about choosing between AT2 (265/65R17) or Cooper S/T 245's
from what I have read discoverer S/T should not rub at all on 08MY 07 plate car
question is which one is cheaper in the long run???
Andy - have you guys got any at good price?
cheers

I have just fitted KL71s in this size. I have a MY07, Feb 07 car and noticed no rubbing, even in some reasonably vigorous off-road driving.
