Wanted - Old Kanckered Air Sup compressor
Does anyone have an old air suspension compressor they are throwing out and would like to throw it my way please
I want to strip one to bits to see how they work. Duncan

but its probably under the LR 12 months part and labour warranty so will have to be sent back to LR Duncan

Man from LR he say no! He also said that they are serviceable parts so are returned for refurbishment, mind you that one changed on December was returned and fitted to a forum members D3, only to work ... ... ...

from what I have seen on here and stripping mine down they are repairable so may not be too wise to give them up easily ( no offence Dunc). the piston ring for want of a better word gets chewed and then allows the piston to be driven up the bore at an angle eating it out and eventually not being able to compress and this is where the overheating messages start and the compressor gradually gets louder until the system says no more.
