I am looking for feedback on the use of KN air filters.
Are they worth the extra expense?
Do they really improve consumption or performance?
If you fit a KN air filter will the LR warranty be invalidated? (assuming you leave it in when you go for a service)
Do KN make air filters for the D3?

I got one a few weeks ago.
Cost £70
Improves oomph!
Improved my mpg - around 7%
Don't reckon it should affect warranty but always better to check beforehand.
[mine is out of warranty] ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

fitted one in my v8 definately better economy. got mine alot cheaper the£70 though. D3 V8 SE AUTO

Just checked with the local Halfords and they have just quoted me £50.80 including VAT. They can get them ordered in, in 3 business days.

I had a look on the net and found a company called Motor Sport World and the price is £41.04 inc VAT and P&P, and deliver in one to two working days.

On the positve side you now know where to buy the cheaper when your needs to be replaced, after million miles.

At todays Diesel prices it will cost ronp £240,000 to go that far, just so he can save £30 on his next filter.
