Height sensor bracket location |
|
Hi
I wonder if anyone could be kind enough to measure the height that the rear suspension height sensor should be when sitting in its bracket/mounting position.
Im talking the actual sensor part on the outrigger and not the arm etc.
Reason im asking is im having some suspension issues after a major rebuild, during which the rusted old height sensors had to be ground off and now im not sure on exact location they should be
Many thanks in advance for anyone who is willing to take the time to check!

I'd happily help, but car is sitting on a steep slope and the driveway is too snowy/icy to risk moving it tonight!
I wonder, though, if a set of adjustable sensors would be the answer - that might allow you to place the bracket at the most suitable position, set the sensor at 0, then wind-out or in the sensor arm to achieve the required 485mm? (Within reason, of course! I'm assuming that your guess of where the bracket is meant to be would be within normal height adjustment range). Previously:
