Rear air suspension boots

Hi,

I've noticed, that my rear air suspension boot is rubbing in my driveshaft and now there is a hole in it.

Is it normal the boot to be all the way down? I assume the bottom part of it should freely move, as car goes up and down. I slide it up to take the pictures. On the second one, you can see the clean part of the driveshaft where the boot is rubbing.

And do I have to change the boot?
