Suspension fault c1131-92 - Fixed for me |
|
So, had been having the not uncommon amber suspension fault pop up now and again, engine off engine back on would normally clear it for a few days but it got to the point where it was time to do something about. I'm glad I did.

I removed the air compressor as upon engine start up the compressor would run briefly then suspension fault would appear on the dash as it stopped running.
This is what I found;
The air dryer was bogging!

Filter blown out

Cleaned up the air filter dried it out etc, made a couple of make shift filters as a test and it didn't solve the problem.
Dug a little deeper and found the delivery valve had a little chunk missing;

Installed LR020590 new delivery valve, solved the problem for me. £10 and my time to fix, can't complain.

Looks like you have had a lot of water in there. That area should be clean and full of filter medium (kits on ebay). I would be checking the whole system especially all three of the valve blocks.

Dear jmadro,
I do have exactly the same fault here.
Where on the compressor is this valve situated please ?
I have an AMK-compressor installed ...
