| Spun shells engine recon needed midlands |

Evening. After many good miles it’s the dreaded engine knock. My local info diagnosed as spun shells. As most of us have I have sunk a lot on money into her and wondered if anyone knows of a good company to rebuild the engine in or around the midlands. My local indie will only quote for a LR unit. QPonline looks good but is in Kent and it has a long waiting list/ lead time.
To make things worse I sank £3.5 k in to her 2 thousand miles ago including timing belts water pump and oil pump
