Fault Codes

Hello everyone

I’ve been having a few issues with my D3 lately, the HDC, Special Programs, Suspension Lowers and a big F on the gear selector display.

I’ve replaced the brake light switch under the pedals, which mysteriously stopped it for about a week, then checked the steering wheel sensor and all looks well and in place ( I have a video but can’t post it if someone would like to confirm it’s fine.) I reset the steering wheel calibration on the live data, it was out but not massively.

The only real positive was when I removed the interior LED lights it stopped the problem for about two weeks and it come back.
Now this only happens once a day, turn it off and all is fine, it also seems to be when I’m at speed, say 60 mph on the motorway and it does it again. I’ve never had this happen around town.

Anyway I cleared the codes on Sunday, I’ve had it happen twice since then, Wednesday and today and these are the codes that are displayed. Can anyone shed any light on this for me please.

C1130-66 is the one you need to go after as the others are a symptom the this code, not the cause.

Most likely a leaking air bag, or possible pipe leak. There's plenty written on that subject if you do a quick search!! Thumbs Up

Thank you.

Could it also be a leaking valve block?

Yes, that's a possibility but less likely. Spray some soapy water on the air bags and see if there's bubbles.

I replaced the seals in the front valve block and all sorted now, no air loss at all, even overnight.

No faults on the dash for around 10-11 days then the HDC, restricted gears etc come back on.
I’ve plugged the vehicle back into the diagnostics and now have these codes.

Also what is this one? The steering angle was 0.3% but we have this one as well.
