Play in steering wheel - column or tie rods?

There is play in my steering wheel when the engine is off. Very little pressure is needed to show the play, does that mean it’s in the steering column rather than the tie rods?

Sounds like the lower steering column is worn.
Part number LR071146
Most folk on here advise the Genuine LR part rather than less expensive options.

In case anyone wonders - I replaced the lower column with a genuine part and it has cured the play. The one I took off wasn't a genuine one (at least it's clearly different to the genuine one) and it had visible play in the telescopic section even just twisting it by hand once it was off.
