Tcm module wrong software installed?

Greetings folks, got me hands on a nice 2006 rrs 2,7.
Prev. Owner had someone replace transmition and transfer from a d3.
And now a F in ipac. And he could not get it working right so he sold the car to me for penies..
Now i need some advice..
fault code is Incorrect component installed. So ok I need to figure out what assembly and software to flash this tcm so it is happy.
Ill add more info from the faultmate in a few cups of tea

You need to program the TCM to the vehicle.

Thank you loanrangie, That was very helpfull.
What Software files should i use with faultmate to flash it with? Connecting the car to SDD it it detects it as a D3/D4.. Fun eey? Trying to flash it with SDD it fails and now that software is useless. been there done that plenty of times, Msv-2 to the rescue every time. But this time its a bit more struggle
It is a 6speed auto box, so I would like to know that exact files to flash this gb. with. Any Ideas?

You need to go on the BB website and input the details of part No and serial, then wade through the files that are for that TCM... This was one of the draw backs using the MSV.

Cheers for that info Flack, I havent used the FFL much.. Last time must have been back in 2010 or 12.
to flash the Bt module in my D3..
Could you please point me in the right direction of where on bb website i need to have a gander? Im not sure where to look for it.
