I havent had the dreaded suspension boing but.......
The compressor is making a hell of a lot of noise and vibrations when changing access heights.
Is this symptoms of needing a good clearout or imminent compressor failure? "you cannot teach stupid people to do clever things"

it's possible on your vintage it might not have had the compressor enhancement nonsense done? might be worth going to the dealer and have them look at the history of TSB wotsits ?and theeeeennn......???

After an hour of cleaning all the sh e out and re assembly...still screeching its head off

Booked in at the dealers for the 14th..when i mentioned i have read the D3 forum and know all the issues he chuckled and said "Best not try and give you a load of sh t as to why we shouldnt change it then!"
To that i replied..and yes i do use it offroad before you pull that one out of the bag!
But i have cleaned it now and it still makes a noise

Well it only takes a bit of compacted mud in the wrong position to cause the noise If you are confident that the compressor is compltetely free from compacted material all the way around then the noise could be from something else.
